Flight Diverted When Woman Goes into Labor
SALT LAKE CITY (FOX13) — A Delta Air Lines plane flying from California to Minnesota had to stop in Salt Lake City Wednesday morning after a pregnant woman suffered labor complications.
According to Salt Lake City International Airport spokeswoman Barbara Gann, the plane was traveling from San Francisco to Minneapolis.
The woman was taken off the plane and transported to a hospital.
She did not give birth on the plane or at the airport, Gann said.
As of 10 a.m., the plane had refueled and was about to take off for Minneapolis.
